Allentown

In 1991 a covenant was signed by the ministers and Session Clerks of Cupar Old Parish Church and the First Presbyterian Church in Allentown, Pennsylvania, USA. The covenant hangs on the wall of the vestibule in the church. This marked the beginning of a relationship between the two churches which flourished through the early 1990s.

In September 2007 the minister and Jim Hanson, previous Session Clerk who signed the original covenant, visited Allentown with the purpose of rekindling our relationship. As a result we welcomed the Allentown Choir, during a visit to UK, to Cupar in June 2008.
